Black and White Scheme
While visiting a New york city showroom I saw this Rare Marble. (Top left) I couldn’t stop staring at it, I had to create a mini scheme inspired by its sharp contrast and fluid shapes within its veining.
Grey and Mint Scheme
Inspired by this Oskar Schlemmer Human Design Bauhaus 1920 print (Top left). This print looked like a floor plan to me. As a drafter you can see the commands in your head, offset, fillet, align etc. After that the rest just fell naturally in place.
Green and Earth Scheme
Frame House by Apollo architects created this staircase that inspired this scheme. (Top left) Clean lines, play on negative space and light brought together various materials and pieces that went along with these stairs elegant simplicity.
Natural Dining Room Scheme
Inspired by this photograph courtesy of Slow Roads (Top left). What intrigued me was that this photograph looked like a painting. Therefore in the pieces selected you can see a play on form where there is definite definition of clear lines that are sort of blurred creating a dream like space.
